Advicetisement | Thrill Land

Above is an experiment of sorts. We here at Thrill Land are wholly invested in our efforts to develop something decisively new and different. In doing so, we are often brought to challenge those aspects what have become fundamental to our virtual experience. The interesting thing, really, is we have stumble upon an idea, like many, but one to address something present both on and off line— advertising. It hardly comes as little surprise that something so deeply ingrained in our society is often overlooked altogether. So much so, one begins to wonder if it serves any real purpose at all. It is in this stream of thought that we pondered doing away with banner ads altogether. But, then redirecting our energies, we set out to re-purpose advertising. What would happen if its objectives were not material but immaterial? What if we shift the focus to the acquisition of knowledge and wisdom rather than tangible goods? What would happen, indeed! The end result is what you see before you, or at least in these early stages. Perhaps, in time, it may be expanded and improved. We encourage anyone who is interested to join in our journey; to replace their banner advertising with our “advicetisement” Whether we choose to stick with that name or not, we cannot say. Regardless, should one feel so inclined he or she will find what is needed below.
